Three clips, all simulation, all the same tool: follow. What each one shows and why it is there. The setup behind them is on the simulation page.

01A simulated drone keeps a car in frame around a circuit.

Follow a car, chase view

The aircraft sits behind and above a car as it laps a circuit. The car does not slow down for the corners and the drone has to cut inside them to keep it in frame.

The line between the two is the tracking ray: where the drone believes the target is. When it holds through a corner, the policy is doing its job.

Follow a car, from above

The same lap from directly above. The drone's path is the smoother of the two: it anticipates the turn instead of reacting to it.

This is the view a ground station would show. The chase view is the one the aircraft actually has.

03A four-legged robot on a cluttered floor. Same job, different target.

Follow a quadruped

A four-legged robot walks a floor littered with crates, gears and a pallet rack. The drone follows at a fixed standoff and keeps the robot in the frame.

Nothing about the follow task changed between the car and the quadruped. The target moves differently, the job is the same.

All footage is rendered from the simulator, not flown. The aircraft is a model of our compact drone. Muted on purpose: there is no audio in the sim.
